ABOUT THE CHOIR

I Dodici is a London-based choir, founded in 2016. Having originally met through choral singing at university, I Dodici now performs a diverse series of concerts throughout the year. Many of the choir's members have pursued careers in music, whilst others work in medicine, education and the law. Conductor Gabriel Chernick has led the choir since its formation, alongside his work as an award-winning composer, orchestrator and jazz pianist.

The choir has a varied musical output, including session work for TV and radio, and recording its own repertoire, now available on YouTube and Spotify (coming soon). It is based out of St James’s Church Sussex Gardens, where it performs throughout the year, alongside regular appearances at Westminster Abbey, St. Paul’s Cathedral, St Martin-in-the-Fields, St John’s Smith Square and - most recently - an immersive concert for All Hallows' in the Asylum Chapel, Peckham.

International performances have included Notre Dame, the Sorbonne and L’Ecole Normale Supérieure during a European tour to Paris, and a series of Handel's Messiah concerts performed in Venice alongside the Academy of Ancient Music.

I Dodici is available for private engagements of varying sizes and scales. For enquiries please see contact details.
